Terms & Conditions
Legal Disclaimer
At Twin Rivers Swim Co, we understand the importance of establishing clear Terms & Conditions for our services. These Terms & Conditions outline our policies for booking and participating in swim lessons. By booking a lesson with us, you agree to the following terms.
Lesson Bookings & Payment
All swim lessons must be booked in advance. Your lesson time is reserved specifically for your swimmer.
Payment is required according to the payment terms provided at the time of booking. Lesson availability is subject to instructor and pool availability.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change!
Please provide at least 72 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
-
Cancellations with 72+ hours' notice may be rescheduled or credited, subject to availability.
-
Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice may be charged the full lesson fee.
-
No-shows will be charged the full lesson fee.
-
Make-up lessons are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
-
If Twin Rivers Swim Co. needs to cancel a lesson, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit.
Backyard Swim Lessons
Our backyard swim lessons allow us to bring swim instruction directly to your home.
Before your lesson, your pool and surrounding area must be safe, clean, accessible, and suitable for swimming instruction.
The instructor may modify, postpone, or cancel a lesson if they determine that the pool, surrounding area, or conditions are unsafe.
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervision of their children before and after the scheduled lesson.
Backyard Pool Requirements
Families booking backyard lessons are responsible for ensuring:
-
The pool is clean and ready for use.
-
The instructor has safe and easy access to the pool.
-
The surrounding pool area is free from hazards.
-
Any required pool safety equipment is in place.
-
There is adequate space for the lesson to take place safely.
Weather & Outdoor Lessons
Because backyard lessons take place outdoors, weather conditions may occasionally affect our ability to safely hold a lesson.
Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled due to conditions such as:
-
Lightning or thunderstorms
-
Unsafe temperatures
-
Poor air quality
-
Extreme weather
-
Other conditions that may affect swimmer or instructor safety
We will communicate weather-related cancellations as soon as possible.
Safety always comes first.
Indoor Swim Lessons
Indoor lessons are available for families who do not have access to a backyard pool.
Indoor lessons are subject to the rules and policies of the facility where lessons are held. Families are expected to follow all facility and pool rules.
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children before and after their scheduled lesson.
Parent & Tot Lessons
For Level 0: Parent & Tot, a parent or guardian must remain in the water with their child for the entire lesson.
Parent participation is an important part of the program and allows families to learn how to safely support their little swimmer in and around the water.
Water Saftey
Water safety is incorporated into all of our swim programs.
Our lessons are designed to help swimmers develop water awareness, confidence, foundational swimming skills, and age-appropriate safety skills.
Infant Self-Rescue / ISR
Twin Rivers Swim Co. does not provide Infant Self-Rescue (ISR) instruction.
ISR is a specialized survival program taught by specially certified ISR instructors. Our Parent & Tot program is focused on parent participation, water exploration, foundational swim skills, and water safety.
Swim lessons are not a substitute for active adult supervision around water.
Parent & Guardian Supervision
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children before and after lessons.
During lessons, swimmers are under the direction of their instructor. Parents/guardians must remain available and follow any safety instructions provided by the instructor or facility.
Children should never be left unattended around water.
